We are a Research Team from the Poznań University of Economics and Business (Poland), working on research grant titled „Analysis of Open Innovation Alliances and Strategic Partnerships in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry in Poland and CEE countries”. The aim of the project is to explore open innovation alliances and strategic partnerships in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in countries of the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), as well as to explore the tools used to implement alliances in those countries. The results of this study will help us to better explore the potential of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in the CEE region, proclivity for Open Innovation, new market opportunities, potential domestic and international partners (Academia, Business, Institutions) which for sure will be helpful for companies in the development of products, services and therapies for patients in the CEE region.
